This means Liverpool will go into the game missing one of their biggest outlet especially when it comes to the big games of the season just after he was named in the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon D'or award alongside teammate and Brazilian International Philippe Coutinho.
Having had a good start to the season, Mane's troubles started after being sent off in a game against Manchester City, after he was judged to have gone to hard into a tackle with City goalkeeper Ederson. Liverpool received a thrashing from the Citizen thereafter and lost mane to a three game suspension.

However ever since his return from the suspension the Senegalese international has had some dismal performances and even not even played the whole 90 minutes in most of the games since his return.
All this aside, this are the kind of games where Top teams, need there TOP players, regardless the form the players are in at the moment.
Loosing Mane is gonna be a huge blow for Liverpool considering the form Manchester United are currently in at the Moment.
The Jose Mourinho led team has consided 2 goals only in a 2-2 draw away from stoke keeping 6 clean sheets in the process. They have also found the back of the net 21 times whereas Liverpool have found the back of the net 13 times with their defense leaving a lot to be desired after allowing 12 goals into the back of their own net.
In this type of game every manager would want to have his best attack and Liverpool manager Jurgen Kloop will be gutted to be missing one of his best goal scorers.
The options on the left side of the wing - where Mane has thrived in this season also look slim with the only best options in that end are Firmino or Coutinho, while the later has been slotted into midfield in recent games.
Therefore Liverpool might be forced to bring in someone from the bench who might come in the name of Alex Ox-lade Chamberlain who has not been able to start nor impress when brought from the bench.
Liverpool however have the big game favor on their side as they have only lost two of their [Top Six
] games in since last season.
Whoever will deputies for Mane on one side of the Flanks will have to do a good job considering mane has chipped in 3 of the 13 goals for the Reds this season.
