Five football hopefuls enjoyed their experience at Barcelona’s famed youth training complex.

F ive skilful youngsters have had the experience of a lifetime, training at Barcelona ’s famous La Masia youth complex and visiting Camp Nou, thanks to sports hydration company Gatorade. The group – Eduardo Lorenzi Debrito, Kelsey Waller, Mateusz Kaczmarek, Mohammad Heydarpour and Peter Touros – were chosen from thousands of contest entrants who submitted videos of themselves performing unique acts with a football. Their reward was a trip around the world to visit some of the sport’s greatest institutions, including the home of the Catalan giants. After being put through their paces at La Masia the five were given a guided tour of Camp Nou stadium, the home of superstars such as Lionel Messi, Neymar and Andres Iniesta. They were also given a glimpse of the club’s extensive trophy room. “You give this club so much more respect now that you see all of this,” said Peter as he looked on in awe at the array of silverware the club has collected over the years. Jose Enrique has praised Liverpool summer signing Javier Manquillo, telling the club’s official website that the new arrival has settled in well and has performed well in his time at the club so far. Manquillo arrived on a two-year loan deal from Spanish side Atletico Madrid in the summer and has made six league appearances for his new club, despite having played just three times for Atletico last season. Alexandre Pato smashed an egg on Kaka's head in Sao Paulo training, on the day the team heard the news that Kaka was in Dunga's Brazil squad. Kaka later got his revenge as the former AC Milan duo both saw the funny side of the egging incident. Kaka was re-called on Friday to Brazil's national team after an absence of more than 18 months.

Luis Suarez thought he could escape the limelight in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia but he was rumbled by a quick-thinking taxi driver. Suarez is in the Middle East for a friendly with Uruguay but the 27-year-old does not appear to be enjoying his journey. The unnamed driver, however, was clearly enjoying the fact that one of the world's best footballers was in his cab.
