Gerrard blames team general perfomance for the poor show in UCl.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has blamed the whole team for  poor show in the champions league that sees them not going through to the knockout stage. this is after the draw against Basle at home and the loss to the same team away due to an easy goal scored in the dying minutes of the game. When asked if they deserved to win, Gerrard said: “No. I don’t think we deserved better. We haven’t gone out of the competition because of our performance tonight. You always qualify over the six games and unfortunately we haven’t been good enough. The Liverpool  defense struggled again to keep a clean sheet and payed for their mistakes as Liverpool were also reduced to 10men after Lazar Markovic controversial 61st-minute dismissal. This was just after he had come on to replace Rickie Lambert. Liverpool now will try their lick in the Europa league that they have found difficult to brake in recent years.

"Arrow" Ramsey, Aaron's wonder goal.

Aaron Ramsey scored a wonder 2nd goal for him yesterday night as they cruised 4-1 past Turkish side Galatasary in Turkey. The Arsnal midfielder scored a goal that even he has called his "best ever" and helped his side to clinch the win and also a number two spot behind BVB in the table standings. Lukas Podolski was thescore sheet with a brace, this was seen as his prove of worth to his coach who has benched him alot in the couple of games while he continues to perform very brightly towards goal. The goal scores took to Instagram to celebrate their goals in the best way they could.

luis van Gaal Former Manchester United assistant boss Mike Phelan has blamed Louis van Gaal’s fitness regime for the catalogue of injuries at Old Trafford after Chris Smalling became the club’s 43rd casualty of the season. Chris smalling goes down in game against Saints It is also the third time that Smalling has been sidelined since Van Gaal’s arrival last summer after he limped out of Monday’s win at Southampton with a groin strain. The England defender will be assessed further on Wednesday but is rated extremely doubtful for Sunday’s game at home to Liverpool. United are currently also without summer signings Angel di Maria, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw, while Rafael and Phil Jones have just returned to training.  Mike Phelan Phelan, who spent 12 years working alongside Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, believes that Van Gaal’s decision to bring in his own fitness specialist Jos van Dijk to oversee first-team training at the start of the season
