Remember the Liverpool visit to Real Madrid which Dejan Lovren did not play and his wife Anita went on to Instagram posting a video with Lovren's asking why daddy is not on the pitch?
Well last night they would have wished he did not even travel to Istanbul for their away league in the Europa league last 32 against Besiktas in which he missed the final pentaly to knock liverpool out of the competititon.

Liverpool had tried to calm the game and wait for a chance to get them the crucial away goal that would had probably seen them proceed to the round of 16 easily. The chances did come but Liverpool faile to take them at times having far too many touches in the Besiktas 18 box and hence loosing the ball.
So, would you blame Lovren really? i differ and put the blame on Liverpool strikers Sturrridge and Balo who failed to turn the chances into goals and hence made the game more harder for them.

Besiktas now have a change to keep on fighting for European Glory while liverpool still continue to perform poorly in the European championships. They will now be hopingto finish in the top four again so as to have another run in the champions league. Their next game is on sunday against ManCity and they will be hoping their stars, captain Henderson and Cautinho are fit to play.
